This page explains how TalkRight handles information in connection with clinic communication workflows. It may be updated as the platform, integrations, and customer configurations change.
TalkRight provides healthcare communication software for clinics and healthcare operators. The platform helps healthcare teams manage inbound calls, receptionist assistance, autonomous call handling, patient communication workflows, appointment-related communication, and operational reporting.
Information We Process
Depending on how a clinic configures TalkRight, we may process:
- patient name, phone number, and contact details;
- appointment requests and booking details;
- call metadata such as call time, caller number, route mode, call status, and duration;
- call transcripts, summaries, recordings, or notes where enabled by the clinic;
- staff user accounts, clinic roles, permissions, and audit logs;
- communication delivery metadata from WhatsApp, SMS, email, PBX, or voice providers;
- technical logs needed for reliability, security, and troubleshooting.
TalkRight is not the clinic's electronic health record. Where TalkRight integrates with an EHR, hospital system, PBX, messaging platform, or other clinic system, the clinic remains responsible for the authoritative medical record unless agreed otherwise in writing.
How We Use Information
We use information to:
- route and manage patient communications;
- support EVA Assist and EVA Autonomous workflows;
- help receptionists capture patient intent and appointment-related details;
- produce call reports, audit logs, and operational summaries;
- integrate with clinic systems such as PBX, EHR, calendar, WhatsApp, SMS, and email;
- secure, monitor, maintain, and improve the platform;
- comply with applicable contractual, regulatory, and legal obligations.
Data Hosting And Partner Processing
TalkRight is designed around healthcare communication workflows and a core clinical operations layer hosted on Microsoft Azure infrastructure. Some communication workflows may require partner services for telephony, messaging, voice automation, email delivery, analytics, or payments.
Where partner processing is required, TalkRight aims to use controlled integrations, data minimization, and retention controls where available.
Retention
Retention periods depend on the clinic's configuration, regulatory requirements, and contract terms. Clinics may configure whether recordings, transcripts, summaries, and other workflow records are retained, minimized, or disabled for specific workflows where supported.
Clinic Responsibility And Patient Requests
The clinic or healthcare provider is typically responsible for patient records and patient communication workflows. Patients should contact their clinic for access, correction, deletion, or other privacy requests relating to clinical records.
